What is the process of making a sofa?

1. Cut and shape the wooden frame: Cut solid wood or multi-layer board into frame materials; assemble the frame by nailing, tenon joint and reinforcement; inspect to ensure squareness, symmetry and no looseness.

2. Installation of springs and webbing: Install elastic webbing and serpentine springs; fix steel wires and positioning cloth to ensure sitting support.

3. Foam cutting and shaping: Cut foam (seat foam, back foam, armrest foam); glue and paste the foam; trim and shape to ensure smooth lines.

4. Fabric cutting and sewing: Cut fabric by computer or manually; sew to join fabric, press lines, install zippers and make covers; inspect stitch density, stitch quality and size.

5. Upholstery: Cover the foam frame with fabric or leather covers; stretch tightly without wrinkles; install buttons, position and hide threads.

6. Bottom Installation and Sealing: Install sofa legs and hardware; attach bottom cover, zippers and magic tape; clean internal debris.

7. Final inspection and cleaning: Inspect appearance (no dirt, thread ends or wrinkles); check structure (no abnormal noise or looseness); verify dimensions.

8. Packing: Put on dust cover → wrap with EPE foam → pack in carton/wooden frame; attach labels and put into warehouse.
